WOODBRIDGE, VA — Prince William County police officers responded to a domestic incident reported July 29 at 9:20 p.m. Officers discovered a 25-year-old woman who told officers that she and an acquaintance were arguing at the home located in the 5600 block of Reardon Lane in Woodbridge.

The man she was arguing with, 25-year-old Michael Brandon Alexander Vaughn, knocked the woman out of the chair in which she was sitting, police reported. When the woman tried calling for help on her cell phone, Vaughn knocked the phone out of her hands, stepped on it and took it with him when he left in a 2013 silver Nissan Maxima.

Officers have obtained arrest warrants for Vaughn, who has been charged with robbery, preventing the summoning of law enforcement and domestic assault. Vaughn is 6'2, 170 pounds with blond hair, brown eyes and a goatee, according to a police report.
