WOODBRIDGE, VA — Local residents are invited to meet Chief Barry Barnard of the Prince William County Police Department at special "Conversation with the Chief" events scheduled in November. Barnard will make stops in Woodbridge and Dumfries, giving residents a chance to ask him any questions or discuss topics of concern.

The first event will be held Nov. 7 at River Oaks Elementary School, 16950 McGuffeys Trail in Dumfries. The second is scheduled Nov. 14 at R. Dean Kilby Elementary School, 1800 Horner Rd. in Woodbridge. Both events start at 7 p.m.

Barnard will be present at both events to personally answer any questions from residents. Other topics to expect include department updates and crime prevention tips.
