Prince William police recruiters will be available to answer questions about qualifications, the hiring process and benefits.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — The Prince William County Police Department is holding a recruiting information session Saturday for members of the public interested in learning more about becoming a police officer with the department. The session will take place 9 a.m. to noon Feb. 1 at the Charlie T. Deane Central District Station, 5036 Davis Ford Rd. in Woodbridge.
Recruiters will be available to answer questions about the qualifications, hiring process, benefits and incentives. Attendees, who are invited to bring their families, can speak one-on-one with an officer and get detailed information about what the Prince William County Police Department has to offer.
"We believe in and support diversity and Fair and Impartial Policing," Prince William County Police Chief Barry M. Barnard says in a message on the department's website. "Because of this, our Department consistently achieves a high community satisfaction rating, which was 94 percent as of the last biennial community survey."
