Robbery, Assault Suspect From Fredericksburg Sought By Prince William County Police
A man from Fredericksburg is wanted in connection with a strong-arm robbery and domestic assault that was reported in Dumfries on Thursday.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — A Fredericksburg man was accused of robbing and assaulting a woman in Dumfries on Thursday. Police are still looking for the man, who they identified as Isaiah De Andre Norman.
At 1:23 a.m. on Thursday, authorities responded to the Econo Lodge at 17005 Dumfries Road in Dumfries. They had originally received a report of a domestic incident, according to the police report.
The victim, a 19-year-old woman, told police that she was involved in an argument with an acquaintance that escalated. The victim said the acquaintance, who she identified as Norman, struck her.

When she tried to escape by running to the Econo Lodge, authorities claimed that Norman "grabbed and dragged her across the ground before forcefully taking her phone."
The victim eventually managed to separate herself, entered the Econo Lodge, and locked the door behind her. In their report, police said that Norman began banging on the door and damaged the front glass.

He then fled the area before police arrived on the scene, authorities said. A police K-9 searched the area, but was unable to locate the suspect.
The victim reported minor injuries on Thursday morning.
Officers obtained arrest warrants for Norman, but they have been unable to locate him.

Norman is described as a Black man who is about 6 feet, 1 inch tall. He weighs about 170 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
He wanted on charges of robbery, domestic assault and battery, and destruction of property.
