Update: Police Release Photos Of Man Suspected Of Robbing Home Depot, Assaulting Employee
Police have released a photo of a man accused of striking a Home Depot employee with a shopping cart before fleeing the scene.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Police are looking for the man who robbed a Home Depot in Woodbridge on Wednesday evening. Authorities claimed that the man struck an employee with a shopping cart before fleeing the scene with a stolen hammer drill kit. On Monday, the police department released a photo of the suspect.
The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, at the Home Depot in Foulger Square in Woodbridge.

A store employee told police that an unknown man entered the store and began placing items into a shopping cart. The man then attempted to leave the store without paying for the merchandise, according to the police report.
The store employee then intervened in an attempt to prevent the theft, police said. During the encounter, the suspect and the employee struggled over the shopping cart. At one point, the suspect struck the employee with the cart, causing him to fall to the ground, according to authorities. The employee reported minor injuries after the robbery.

The suspect then grabbed one of the items, a hammer drill kit, and entered the passenger side of a silver Toyota Camry with a Florida license plate. The license plate number was KYF C82. The driver of the Camry then fled the area before police arrived on the scene.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man who is about 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a red face mask, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans.
