PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA โ€” The Prince William County Police Department is conducting a โ€œClick It or Ticketโ€ seat belt enforcement campaign through Nov. 29, so be sure to strap on your seat belt or else run the risk of getting a ticket, or, even worse, dying in a car crash.

The Prince William County Police are joining law enforcement agencies across Virginia in the โ€œClick It or Ticketโ€ campaign to enforce the stateโ€™s safety-belt and child safety-seat laws. The department will conduct high-visibility patrols day and night through the end of November.

Seat belts are mandatory in Virginia for all people riding in the front seat. Also, Virginia car seat laws state that all children under the age of eight must ride in a federally approved, secured safety seat.
