Services Changes Coming to PRTC by End of May

PRTC’s Spring Service Change will take place on Monday, May 23. Most schedules will change. New schedules will be available from operators upon request and new timetables will be posted online starting Monday, May 16. Changes include:

OmniRide

• Dale City-Washington – Several stops in DC removed – see below; shows rerouting along 15^th Street; shows PM peak service operating on 10 minute headways, no timepoint observance; some timetable changes
• Dale City-Washington Navy Yard – Several stops in DC removed 
• Lake Ridge-Washington – Several stops in DC removed - see below; LX trips will begin at Tackett’s Mill; shows rerouting along 15^th Street; shows PM peak service operating on 10 minute headways, no timepoint observance; some timetable changes
• Lake Ridge-Pentagon/Crystal City – LX trips will begin at Tackett’s Mill 
• Route 1 OmniRide – Several stops in DC removed  - see below; some timetable changes 
• South Route 1 – Several stops in DC removed – see below; shows rerouting along 15^th Street 
• Montclair – Several stops in DC removed – see below 
• Rosslyn/Ballston – Some timetable changes; shows rerouting to serve commuter parking at First Baptist Church
• Manassas OmniRide – Several stops in DC removed – see below;  shows rerouting along 15^th Street; some timetable changes
• Capitol Hill – Two stops in DC removed – see below
• Tysons Express – New AM and PM stop at Galleria before Tysons Blvd.; minor AM timetable changes

Some OmniRide stops in DC will be eliminated as of May 23. The eliminated stops and alternate stops are listed below.

The following State Department AM stops will no longer be served:

• I & 17^th (Farragut Square) – alternate stops are I & 15^th and I & 18th
• 19^th & I – alternate stops are I & 18^th and 19^th & H
• 19^th & E – alternate stops are 19^th & F and Virginia & 21^st

The following State Department PM stops will no longer be served:

• E & 20^th (OPM) – alternate stops are Virginia & 21^st and 18^th & F
• H & Madison – alternate stops are H & Jackson and 15^th & New York. (D-107N and D-114N begin at 15^th & NY.)

The following Navy Yard AM stops will no longer be served:

• 12^th & D – alternate stops are 12^th & C and Maine & 6th
• Maine & 9^th – alternate stops are 12^th & C and Main & 6th
• M & 1^st – alternate stops are M & Half and M & 4th
• 11^th & N – alternate stops are M & 9^th and 12^th & M

The following Navy Yard PM stops will no longer be served:

• 11^th & N – alternate stops are 12^th & M (new timepoint) and M & 10th
• M & 7^th – alternate stops are M & 10^th and M & Isaac Hull
• Maine & 9^th – alternate stops are Maine & 6^th and 12^th & C
• 12^th & D – alternate stops are Maine & 6^th and 12^th & C

The following L’Enfant AM stops will no longer be served:

• 11^th & F – Alternate stops are H & 11^th and 11^th & E
• Pennsylvania & 4^th – alternate stops are Penn & 6^th and 4^th & Madison
• Independence & 6^th – alternate stops are 4^th & Independence (HHS) and 7th & C

The following Capitol Hill AM and PM stops will no longer be served:

• 3^rd & E – alternate stops are 3^rd & Constitution and E & 1^st
• E & North Capitol – alternate stops are E & 1^st and Louisiana & D (new timepoint)

Metro Direct

• Prince William Metro Direct – Shows Potomac Mills local stop relocation
• Manassas Metro Direct – Stop at Center & West removed – alternate stops are Prince William St. & West (VRE) and Center & East; timetable changes

OmniLink

• Woodbridge OmniLink – Shows Potomac Mills local stop relocation; timetable changes
• Dale City OmniLink – Timetable changes
• Dumfries OmniLink – Timetable changes
• Route 1 OmniLink – New Northbound stop at Fraley & Dumfries Shopping Center; timetable changes
• Manassas OmniLink – Stop at Center & West removed – alternate stops are Grant & Bartow and Center & East; stop at former Wal-Mart removed; timetable changes
• Manassas Park OmniLink – Timetable changes

Cross County Connector

• Stop at Center & West removed – alternate stops are Grant & Lee (new timepoint) and Center & East; shows Potomac Mills local stop relocation
