Sexual Assault Reported At Woodbridge Wawa: Police
A woman told police that a man sexually assaulted her at a Woodbridge Wawa on Friday morning. A suspect is in custody.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — A sexual assault was reported at a Woodbridge Wawa on Friday morning, according to a report from the Prince William County Police Department. Police said a suspect is in custody.
The assault occurred around 11 a.m. on Friday morning at the Wawa on Jefferson Davis Highway, police said. Police identified the victim as a 34-year-old woman.
As the woman walked into the store, an unknown man approached her, police said. The man asked her for money and inappropriately touched her, according to the police report.

The victim eventually ran away from the man and told a Wawa employee. They called the police department.
The suspect left the store before officers arrived on the scene, according to the police report. Officers found the suspect in the woods near the store, authorities said.

Authorities identified the suspect as Deshawn Terrell Martin. The police department said Martin was wanted on unrelated charges.
Martin faces one count of sexual assault. His next court date is scheduled for April 26. His bond is listed as "unavailable," according to court records.
