Shooting At Bristow Home Leads To Charges For Woodbridge Teens: Police
A pair of 15-year-olds face criminal charges after firing gunshots into a home in Bristow, the Prince William County Police Department.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Two teens fired a gunshot into a Bristow home, the Prince William County Police Department announced.
No injuries were reported in the shooting, according to authorities.
The two teens, 15-year-old boys from Woodbridge, were officially charged on Tuesday. They are both charged with one count of possession of a firearm by persons under 18 and shooting in public places.

Authorities have not publicly identified either teen due to a Virginia law that protects the identities of minors accused of crimes.
The shooting occurred around 2 a.m. on July 25 at a home in the 9500 block of Merrimont Trace Circle in Bristow. A resident told police that a bullet entered their home through a bedroom wall.

Authorities said one resident in the home knew the teenaged suspects. Investigators determined that one of the teens took a firearm from his own home in Woodbridge before the pair drove to Bristow.
