The shooting occurred around 10 p.m. on Sept. 28 outside the Babylon bar on Golansky Boulevard in Woodbridge. Authorities said two bar patrons had an argument in the parking lot before security separated them.
One of the patrons, who investigators identified as Yancey, went to his car, retrieved a gun, and fired several rounds into the air. The police report claimed that Yancey then pointed the gun at the other patron.
Yancey then drove away from the scene before police officers arrived, authorities said.
On Monday, police officers found Yancey in Woodbridge and took him into custody without incident.
