Police arrested a woman in Dale City on Tuesday after she was accused of stabbing a man during an argument, according to the police report.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Police arrested a woman outside a home in Dale City on Tuesday evening after she was accused of stabbing a man.
The victim, a 52-year-old man, suffered multiple stab wounds, according to the Prince William County Police Department's report. Authorities said his injuries were not life-threatening.
The police department said officers arrested Kendra Lynett Geter after their investigation.

Geter is charged with one count of malicious wounding. She is being held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center, and her bond is listed as unavailable.
If convicted, Geter could face up to 20 years in prison.

Police responded to a house in the 14700 block of Darbydale Avenue around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. When officers arrived on the scene, they found the victim outside the home suffering from stab wounds, according to the police report.
Officers provided first aid until rescue personnel arrived. They treated the victim at the scene, authorities said.
Officers determined that the victim and Geter were acquaintances who had an argument that escalated. Police claimed that Geter then stabbed the man.
