Stabbing Reported During Veterans Park Soccer Game: Police
One man stabbed another during a soccer game at Woodbridge's Veterans Park on Sunday evening, authorities said.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man was stabbed during a soccer game at Woodbridge's Veterans Park on Sunday, the Prince William County Police Department said.
The victim, a 29-year-old man, suffered injuries that were not life-threatening. He left the fields on his own and sought treatment at an area hospital.
Investigators described the suspect as a Hispanic man with black, curly hair. He has a thin build and is about 5 feet, 4 inches tall.

The victim told police that he was playing a soccer game with several other men before the stabbing. During the game, one man from an opposing team pulled out a box cutter and cut the victim.
"A physical altercation ensued between the two teams before the groups separated," the police department said.
