Suspect In Attempted Burglaries Of Tobacco Hut Arrested: Police
A suspect in a series of attempted burglaries of a Tobacco Hut in Woodbridge was arrested Wednesday by the Prince William County police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A suspect in a series of attempted burglaries of a Tobacco Hut in Woodbridge was arrested Wednesday by the Prince William County Police Department. Daniel Adam Campola, 38, of Woodbridge was charged with three counts of attempted burglary, three counts of possession of burglary tools and one court of false identity to law enforcement.
On Monday, police officers were in the shopping area of River Ridge Blvd. in Woodbridge when they conducted a traffic stop of a suspicious vehicle. Officers determined that the driver of the vehicle was Campola, the suspect sought in connection with the burglaries that were reported to have occurred at the Tobacco Hut on Route 1 in Woodbridge July 13-15.
Following an investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for Campola on Wednesday, who was taken into custody later that evening. He is being held in jail without bond. A court date has been set for Oct. 13.

On July 16 at around 10:30 p.m., police officers responded to the Tobacco Hut on Route 1 to investigate multiple attempted burglaries. The owner of the store reported to police that an unknown suspect attempted to enter the store between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. on July 13, 14 and 15.
Video surveillance footage revealed that each morning, the suspect approached the business on foot and attempted to force entry into the business through the front door. No entry appears to have been made into the business and no property was reported missing, the police said.
