WOODBRIDGE, VA — A 15-year-old boy brought a gun to Freedom High School on Monday and showed it to other students in a bathroom, according to the Prince William County Police Department. He then gave the gun to another boy, police said.

No shots were fired, and nobody was injured, authorities said.

The two 15-year-old boys are charged with possessing a firearm on school property. The police department has not identified the boys by name due to a Virginia law that protects the identities of minors. Both boys were arrested and are being held at the Prince William County Juvenile Detention Center.
