Thief Steals Pain Meds From Woodbridge Pharmacy

Prince William County police: Suspect at large, wore orange hoodie.

Prince William County police are searching for a man who stole prescription pain medications during a robbery early Tuesday at a CVS pharmacy in Woodbridge.

Police responded at 2:58 a.m. to the CVS at 13600 Jefferson Davis Highway, according to a police report. A CVS employee told police that an unknown man had entered the business and approached the pharmacy counter.

During the encounter, the man became agitated, implied he had a weapon and demanded narcotics, the employee said. He took several prescription pain medications before fleeing the business on foot.

No injuries were reported, and a police dog was used to search for the suspect, according to the report.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, between 25 and 45 years of age, 6 feet tall and weighing 220 pounds with a heavy build. He was last seen wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white shoes.
