Traffic Alert: 95 HOV Lanes Closed This Weekend
Work required for 95 Express Lanes project until Sunday morning, according to Virginia Department of Transportation.
Travelers on Interstate 95 may have a longer commute this weekend, with the HOV lanes closed for construction beginning Friday night, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Crews will be working on the 95 Express Lanes project, including installing overhead structures, paving and pulling fiber optic lines throughout the entire stretch of HOV lanes.
The lanes will close at 11 p.m. Friday night and reopen heading northbound at 8 a.m. Sunday morning.
