Two Dead After Early-Morning Shooting In Woodbridge: Police
Prince William County police are investigating a shooting that left a man and a woman dead.
WOODBRIDGE, VA โ Two people are dead following an early-morning shooting in Woodbridge that remains under investigation, according to a release from Prince William County police.
The shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. Saturday in the 11500 block of Bertram Street, police said. When officers arrived they found two people inside the home with gunshot wounds. A gun was also recovered inside the home.
The victims โ 36-year-old Moneer Nasafi and 34-year-old Mariam Yusefi โ were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

At the time, police said the shooting appears to be isolated. It also appears there's no ongoing threat to the public.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, police said.
