Tysons Food Recalls 52,000 Pounds of Chicken Wings
Complaints of "off odor" and mild illness led Tysons to announce Hot Wings recall. Product was shipped nationwide.

Tysons Foods has voluntarily recalled 52,486 pounds of chicken wings after complaints of a bad smell. Only mild illness has been reported.
The fully cooked buffalo style chicken wings were produced on Oct. 24-25 and shipped nationwide, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.
The 28-oz. bags are labelled “Tyson Any’tizers Fully Cooked Hot Wings CHICKEN WING SECTIONS COATED WITH A FLAVORFUL HOT, TANGY SAUCE.”

- Establishment number “P-13456” inside the USDA mark of inspection as well as on the back of the bag above the heating instructions.
Tyson Foods contacted food safety officials after consumer complaints about the product being “off-odor,” as well the reports of mild illness after eating the wings.
Consumers who have the chicken wings are urged not to eat them — throw the bag out or return it where it was purchased.
