Wanted Man Assaulted A Woman At A Woodbridge Hotel, Left With Their Baby: Police

Police in Prince William County are looking for a man who is accused of assaulting a woman and leaving the scene with their infant son.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Police in Prince William County are looking for a domestic assault suspect. Authorities claimed that Mitchell Harrison assaulted a woman at the Comfort Suites in Woodbridge on Monday night.

Officers responded to the hotel at 11:58 p.m. on Monday. The victim, a 38-year-old woman, told police that she and Harrison had an argument that escalated, according to the police report.

The victim said that Harrison pushed her into an elevator and hit her. The couple then returned to their hotel room, police said.

In the room, Harrison did not allow the victim to leave, police claimed. The police department said that Harrison took the victim's phone when she tried to call for help.

Harrison then left the area with the couple's infant son before officers arrived. The victim did not report any injuries from the assault.

Harrison is wanted on charges of abduction, domestic assault, and preventing the summoning of law enforcement. The police department has not been able to find him.

Police described Harrison as a Black man who is about 5 feet, 11 inches tall. He weighs approximately 150 pounds. He has short black hair, brown eyes, and multiple tattoos.
