Woodbridge Man Charged In Connection With Fatal Stabbing: Police
Prince William County police officers on Friday arrested a suspect in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man outside Babylon Café.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — Prince William County Police Department officers on Friday arrested a suspect in connection with the fatal stabbing of a Dumfries man on July 24. Abdur Rahman Roland, 31, of Woodbridge was charged with second degree murder, the police department said.
Charlie Davis III, 28, died at the hospital July 24 after getting stabbed outside Babylon Café on Golansky Boulevard in Woodbridge earlier that day, according to the police.
The police said their investigation found that Davis and Roland were involved in a physical altercation in the parking lot outside Babylon Café when Roland allegedly stabbed Davis. The two men did not know each other, according to the police.

The Prince William County police said that after the closing of Babylon Café in the early morning hours of July 24, a large fight broke out in the parking lot of the business. During the fight, the stabbing occurred before people dispersed.
During their investigation, Prince William County police detectives were able to identify Roland and obtained warrants for his arrest, the police said. Roland, who was arrested at his home without incident, is being held in jail without bond, with a court date of Nov. 12, the police said.
