The shooting occurred around 11 p.m. on March 10 in the 13900 block of Longwood Manor Court in Woodbridge, police said.

Authorities said Gray was in a parking lot with three women when an argument broke out. Investigators believe Gray pulled out a gun and pointed it at the women.

Gray then walked away before firing a gunshot into the ground, the police department said. Gray then left the area in a vehicle.
