Woodbridge Man Charged With Sexual Assault of Minor
Prince William County police: Man arrested after investigation by Special Victims Unit.

A Woodbridge man was arrested and jailed Wednesday on charges that he sexually assaulted a female juvenile, according to the Prince William County police.

Michael Thomas Moody (in photo), 43, of the 3300 block of Bradford Drive has been charged with aggravated sexual battery and forcible sodomy, a police report said. He’s being held without bond at the Prince William-Manassas Regional Jail, and a court date is pending.
The charges were filed against Moody after detectives from the Police Department’s Special Victims Unit investigated a sexual assault reported to have occurred at a residence in the 3300 block of Bradford Street, the police report said.

The investigation revealed that the victim, a juvenile female, was sexually assaulted by Moody on at least two occasions sometime in February. The victim recently disclosed the encounters, and Prince William police were notified, the police report said.
