Woodbridge Pot Deal Leads To Buyer Getting Kicked, Robbed: Police

A 19-year-old who arranged to buy marijuana Friday night was beat up by three people in the 2000 block of Mayflower Drive in Woodbridge.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A 19-year-old who arranged to buy marijuana Friday night was beat up by three people in the 2000 block of Mayflower Drive in Woodbridge, according to the Prince William County Police Department. The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of money from the male victim before fleeing in a black sedan.

The victim, who told police he set up the pot purchase using social media, went to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The police were contacted about the robbery after the victim arrived at the hospital.

At 9:20 p.m. Friday, Prince William County police went to Mayflower Drive where the alleged attack took place. In their investigation, the police learned that the victim was approached from behind and struck in the head by an unknown male suspect. Two additional suspects arrived and joined in striking and kicking the victim. The vehicle in which the suspects fled was driven by an unknown black female, police said.

According to the police, the three suspects are described as a black teenage male, 6 feet, 2 inches to 6 feet, 4-inches tall, with a thin build and a beanie; a mixed-race teenage male, 6-feet, 1-inch tall, with a thin build and long, curly hair; and a black teenage male, 5-feet, 8-inches tall, with a heavy build.
