Woodbridge Robbery Suspects Arrested In Richmond: Police

Members of the Richmond City Police Department took the suspects, Marcus Denzel Johnson and Aleah Nicole Kitts, into custody.

RICHMOND, VA — Two suspects in the robbery of a man in Woodbridge were arrested in Richmond Tuesday and are awaiting to be transported to Prince William County, according to the Prince William County Police Department. Members of the Richmond City Police Department located the suspects, Marcus Denzel Johnson, 23, and Aleah Nicole Kitts, 24, and took them into custody.

The two suspects have been charged with robbery and malicious wounding by mob in connection with an incident reported to have occurred in Woodbridge on Jan. 19 at 10:40 a.m. At that time, Prince William County police officers responded to a residence in the 15200 block of Barnabas Trail in Woodbridge to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 28-year-old man, reported to police that he got into in an argument with three people: Johnson from Dumfries, Kitts from Fairfax, and an unidentified suspect.

During the incident, Johnson, Kitts and the third suspect allegedly struck the victim several times in the upper body, leaving him unconscious. The victim was transported to the hospital with injuries from which he is expected to recover. The suspects took numerous items, including two gaming consoles, cell phones, jewelry, alcohol products and DVDs, according to police.

The suspects have not been booked yet into Prince William County jail. The booking photo of Johnson is from August 2019 and the photo of Kitts is from May 2019. Prince William County police are still looking for the third suspect in the incident.
