Woodbridge Shooting Victim Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries: Police
A 38-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries after someone shot him at a Woodbridge apartment complex on Monday night, police said.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man suffered life-threatening injuries after he was shot at a Woodbridge apartment complex on Monday night, the Prince William County Police Department said.
Police identified the victim as a 38-year-old man. They did not identify him by name. An ambulance took him to a hospital after the shooting for treatment.
The police department has not publicly identified any suspects in connection with the shooting.

In a report, the police department said the shooting occurred around 9:10 p.m. on Monday. Officers were called to the apartment complex, where they found the victim suffering from the gunshot wound. They provided first aid until the ambulance arrived.
Officers believe the shooting happened after an argument broke out and became physical. One person pulled out a gun and fired a single round that struck the victim, according to the police report.

Another person pointed a gun at the same group, but they did not fire a shot, police said. Many people in the area ran away before police arrived.
A police K-9 and a helicopter searched the area for suspects, but they did not locate them.
The people who stayed on the scene did not cooperate with police, authorities said.
