Man Going To Jail For Drunk Sex Car Crash Near Mt. Rainier
The 22-year-old man was driving drunk while having sex on Nov. 22 between La Grande and Mount Rainier.
LA GRANDE, WA - A man who crashed his car while drunk and having sex - and with a three-month old baby in the backseat - will spend two years in jail, according to reports.
Michael G. Tonkin, 22, was sentenced this week after he was charged with reckless endangerment, vehicular assault, and failing to have an ignition interlock device, according to the Tacoma News-Tribune.
The crash happened on Nov. 22 along the 48400 block of Mountain Highway, which is also SR 7. little distracted, Tonkin missed a turn in the road and crashed his car into a tree. Witnesses at the scene told police Tonkin and the woman he was with emerged from the wreck fully naked. The woman, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered broken bones. The baby was not injured, according to state patrol.

Tonkin has prior convictions for driving while under the influence, according to court records.
