Marijuana Factory In Smokey Point Explodes, 1 Injured
The factory, located in the tiny community of Smokey Point , processes marijuana for sale at Washington recreational cannabis stores.

SMOKEY POINT, WA - An explosion at a marijuana factory in Smokey Point left one worker with minor injuries, according to local police.
The explosion happened around 1 p.m. Thursday at the Smokey Point Productions marijuana facility. The explosion did not cause a fire. The worker was taken to Cascade Valley Hospital for treatment, according to reports.
Smokey Point Productions packages marijuana for sale at Washington cannabis retail stores. The business also extracts THC from marijuana plants for vape and dab products. To create dabs, marijuana plants are distilled using butane gas - a process that can often cause explosions.
