The statewide calendar shows Arlington repeatedly hosting league showdowns and district championships, making local trails a central stage for runners from across Washington this fall.
   

2. AJ McLean announces new 2027 tour dates (themusicuniverse.com) — AJ McLean is bringing his Better Man Tour to Arlington, with a January 17, 2027 show at Angel of the Winds Casino Resort, giving local fans a chance to see his new solo material live. Presales start October 1, with general tickets on sale October 2, as he extends his North American tour into early 2027 with stops across the West and South.

4. Sultan, Stanwood outpace Seattle as growth shifts north (seattlered.com) — Arlington is among Washington's fastest-growing cities, with population up 17.7% since 2020 as more people leave Seattle for cheaper housing and quieter Snohomish County communities. New migration data show growth shifting north to towns like Sultan, Stanwood, Lake Stevens, and Arlington, where leaders emphasize affordability, small-town feel, and resistance to new local taxes.
