• Rec n Roll returns to Auburn parks for its fourth year (auburn-reporter.com) — Free Rec n Roll activities are popping up at four Auburn parks Monday through Thursday, giving local kids crafts, games, and water play through August 20. Run by Auburn Parks staff and aligned with the school district’s free summer lunch sites, the mobile program helps families overcome cost and transportation barriers while adding special visits from partners like VRFA and the library.
   

• WSDOT wants public input for SR 164 improvements (courierherald.com) — If you drive SR 164 into or out of Auburn, WSDOT wants your feedback on safety and congestion along this high-injury corridor. A new planning study, building on earlier recommendations, will use public survey responses to shape a report to state lawmakers and guide future improvements between Enumclaw and Auburn.
