• Battle Ground launches Old Town facade improvement grant program (thereflector.com) — Battle Ground is offering up to $10,000 in matching grants to help Old Town businesses spruce up their storefronts along East Main and nearby streets. Local commercial property owners and retail tenants can apply for funds covering paint, signs, lighting, awnings, murals and more through June 30, or until the $50,000 pool runs out. 
• Lewisville Regional Park closed due to fire (columbian.com) — Lewisville Regional Park in Battle Ground is closed until further notice after an early Tuesday fire destroyed the park’s main Grand Shelter picnic area. Fire crews from multiple districts responded, and no injuries were reported. Clark County Public Works is contacting reservation holders about refunds or moving events while investigators look into the suspicious blaze.
• Vital Statistics for May 12, 2026 (columbian.com) — A Clark County court report lists a Battle Ground resident among recent felony sentencings, noting a 22‑month sentence for attempting to elude police. The same court roundup also details several other Clark County felony cases and recent marriage dissolutions and legal separations.
