2 Men Threaten Bellevue Taco Bell Workers Over Service

BELLEVUE, WA — The Factoria Taco Bell only has a 2-1/2 star rating on Yelp, but two patrons recently took their dissatisfaction with the food to a dangerous level, threatening the workers with a weapon.

The incident happened on May 31 at the Taco Bell along the 3700 block of Factoria Boulevard. According to the Bellevue police blotter, the two men didn't like the way their order was handled. One of them jumped up on the counter and flashed a weapon at the workers.

But they didn't get far. Police spotted their vehicle at a local apartment complex. The men were arrested on drug and harassment charges, and officers confiscated two weapons.

Assist agency, 1000 block of 116th Ave NE
Officers responded to the hospital for a possible gunshot wound. Investigators quickly discovered the incident occurred at a City of Renton park. Renton Police were notified and responded. (Read more about this incident here)

DUI Arrest, 4200 block of 153rd Avenue SE
Police contacted the suspect after multiple calls of a possible DUI driver. The investigating officer determined that the suspect driver had hit multiple vehicles at the above location and was exhibiting the effects of alcohol consumption. The suspect was arrested and processed for DUI.

May 28

Theft, 1600 block of 140the Ave NE
The suspects were contacted by Police following multiple calls from businesses regarding the suspects committing theft at the business. The investigating officer immediately recognized both suspects from prior contacts. The suspects were located at a third parties’ residence nearby, however, neither suspect would exit to speak with the officers and the homeowner would not give consent to enter the residence. The suspects were advised that they would be summoned in the mail with court dates.

May 29

Domestic Disturbance, 15400 block of Southeast 20th Place
Police responded to a possible domestic violence situation. The investigating officer determined that female caller had been assaulted by her transient roommate that she had recently invited to move in with her. The Suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Robbery, 4100 block of Factoria Boulevard Southeast
A suspect asked to use the victim’s phone. As the victim dialed the requested number, the suspect grabbed the phone and walked away. The victim tried to retrieve the phone and was assaulted. The suspect fled and was last seen in an unknown black sedan leaving the area.

Harassment, 16100 NE 8th St. (Crossroads Park)
The suspect was extremely intoxicated and threatening to fight people at the park. When contacted by the police he also threatened to fight them, only after he was in handcuffs. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

May 31

Suspicious Circumstances, 10600 block of Northeast 9th Place
An employee reported an unwanted subject at the location arguing with another employee. The employee told the first responding officer the subject brandished and pointed a firearm at them. The employee fled the area and hid in a storage closet. A description and photo were disseminated, and the subject was contacted and detained a short time later. Shortly after being arrested, the subject told the investigating officer there was video of the incident on his phone. The officer viewed the video and determined the subject never had a gun or made gestures consistent with having a gun in his hand. The charge was determined to be unfounded and the subject was released at the scene. At this time, there is no reason to believe the store employee lied about what she saw.

ID Theft, 11100 block of NE 8th St.
The subjects used a phone app to make payments for merchandise using two credit cards on the app. Subjects made multiple payments and attempts (some were declined). One of the cards was a credit card issued by the store, and loss prevention became suspicious, so they called the cardholder and confirmed that the subjects in the store did not have permission to have his card. Both subjects were arrested without incident and booked into jail.

Warrant/Hit & Run/Drugs/Forgery, 15800 block of Eastgate Way
An officer was driving behind the suspect vehicle checking its plate when the vehicle quickly pulled into a parking lot and crashed into a large corporate sign. The driver got out of the vehicle and took off running, however, forgot to put the car in park and it rolled over his own leg. The driver then resumed running away on foot, dropping a backpack he was carrying. Officer chased suspect on foot and found him hiding on the ground a couple blocks away. Officers arrested the suspect without incident. A search turned up suspected drugs and forged IDs. The suspect also had outstanding warrants. He was arrested and booked into jail.

Traffic Accident, 4800 block of Coal Creek Parkway
A traffic accident occurred when a vehicle was traveling northbound on Coal Creek Parkway at a high rate of speed and merged into oncoming traffic. It collided with a tree after striking a vehicle that was in the southbound lanes and then came to rest approximately 15 feet off the roadway. The investigation is ongoing.

June 2

Domestic Dispute, 200 block of 111th Ave Northeast
The subject was involved in a verbal altercation with his girlfriend at their apartment. The subject became increasingly agitated with his girlfriend and he assaulted her. Officers requested Seattle Police assistance to locate the suspect based on a related address in Seattle. The case was filed with the prosecutor.
