Bellevue Whole Foods 360 Forced To Reopen
The less-expensive Whole Foods concept at Bellevue Square was ordered by a judge to reopen.

BELLEVUE, WA - A King County judge is ordering the Bellevue Whole Foods 365 store reopen after the owners of Bellevue Square sued, according to the Seattle Times. Whole Foods closed the Bellevue 365 store in October citing poor revenue.
The mall's owners sued Whole Foods for breaking terms of its lease, the Times reported. The lease required Whole Foods to operate the store in perpetuity for the first 10 years of the 20-year lease. The judge's order requires Whole Foods to reopen the store within 14 days.
Whole Foods began opening the 365 concept stores two years ago as a lower-priced alternative. The stores sell Whole Foods' 365 brand products, which are priced lower. There are six 365 stores in the U.S. in Ohio, Texas, Oregon, and California. There another dozen stores across the U.S. set to open.
