The voluntary Fred Meyer recall affects children's zip-up sweatshirts.

BELLEVUE, WA — Fred Meyer is voluntarily recalling about 48,000 children's zip-up sweatshirts due to "choking and laceration hazards," the company is saying.

The recall affects both boys and girls clothing, including a number of hooded sweatshirts and "bomber"-style sweatshirts. The garments were sold under the Kids Korner brand at Fred Meyer, Kroger, Smith's and Fry's Marketplace between February 2017 through March 2017, the company said.
