• Five men indicted in nationwide money laundering scheme (bothell-reporter.com) — A Bothell resident has been indicted alongside four other men in a federal case alleging a nationwide money-laundering scheme tied to scams targeting elderly victims. Prosecutors say the group moved more than $7.4 million through shell companies and dozens of bank accounts, with funds allegedly sent overseas. The Bothell defendant has been released pending trial, which is scheduled for November 9.
