• New 80-mile race will let bicyclers pedal to Mowich Lake at Mount Rainier (thenewstribune.com) — Cyclists will be riding the Foothills Trail straight into Buckley this July as part of a new 80‑plus‑mile gravel event from Enumclaw to Mowich Lake and back. The GETMAD ride, organized by Redmond Cycling Club, highlights communities along the trail and offers a rare bike-only route past the closed Fairfax Bridge into Mount Rainier National Park.
