• Box of bees falls off truck in Burlington, triggering public safety alert (dailydispatch.com) — A box of bees tumbled off a truck at Burlington Boulevard and Fairhaven early Friday, triggering a Skagit Ready Alert that asked people to avoid the area. Burlington Fire Chief Rob Toth said the scene was smaller than reported, no stings were known, and bystanders were already scooping up the bees when crews arrived.
