• Couple suspected of dealing meth and fentanyl in Centralia (tri-cityherald.com) — Centralia police arrested two people near the Dollar General on East Summa Street after a traffic stop led to the discovery of suspected meth and fentanyl packaged for sale. Both now face felony drug charges in Lewis County Superior Court, with one defendant also linked to other pending cases in Clark and Cowlitz counties. Arraignments were scheduled for April 30.
   

• Centralia VFW Donates Captured Vietnam Battle Flag (southernillinoisnow.com) — Centralia’s VFW Post 2055 has donated a captured 1969 North Vietnamese battle flag to the Mission: POW-MIA group to aid in recovering missing U.S. servicemen. Post leaders say they’re proud the artifact, long held locally, can now support efforts to return remains and closure to families.
   

• Bail set at $50,000 for Centralia man accused of felony DUI (chronline.com) — A Centralia man with prior serious convictions is facing a new felony DUI charge after a single-vehicle crash on Little Hanaford Road, with bail set at $50,000. Court records describe alleged recent drug use, a blood draw at Providence Centralia Hospital, and strict release conditions if he posts bail.
