FERC rejects TransAlta 202(c) cost-recovery plan for Centralia unit (utilitydive.com) — Federal regulators have rejected TransAlta’s plan to recover nearly $20 million in costs for keeping the Centralia coal-fired power plant available under a federal emergency order, affecting how those expenses can be passed on to utilities.
