• Dog that bit victim west of Chehalis declared dangerous (tri-cityherald.com) — A dog living in the Claquato community just west of Chehalis has been officially declared dangerous after severely biting a man working on the property. The Lewis County Dangerous Animal Designation Board is allowing the owner to keep the dog only if he installs secure confinement, posts warning signs and carries liability insurance. The victim continues to struggle with a difficult-to-heal leg wound months after the attack.
