• Coroner: Chelan County drug deaths decline from 2024 peak (ncwlife.com) — Drug-related deaths in Chelan County, including the city of Chelan, fell sharply last year, dropping to 22 accidental overdoses in 2025 after peaking in 2024, especially from fentanyl. The coroner’s report also notes 19 suicides, five homicides, and that accidental falls now surpass overdoses as the leading accidental cause of death countywide.
