• Crews contain Casey Road Fire in Walla Walla County, all evacuation orders lifted (elkhornmediagroup.com) — College Place Fire crews were among many agencies that helped contain the Casey Road Fire in northern Walla Walla County, allowing all evacuation and shelter-in-place orders to be lifted. Nearly 5,000 acres burned as high winds and dry conditions drove the blaze, but coordinated ground and air efforts, plus help from local farmers, protected homes, livestock, and crops.
