• Sound Transit Rolls Out New Sounder Trains (seattletransitblog.com) — Plans to extend Sounder’s S Line all the way to DuPont have been deferred as Sound Transit reshuffles its long-term expansion projects, even while new, safer train cars debut on the Seattle–Lakewood route. For DuPont residents, that means improved regional trains are arriving now, but the long-promised local station and added trips remain on hold for the foreseeable future.
