Bikini baristas win more than $1.8 M in wage-theft case (lynnwoodtimes.com) — A King County judge has ordered more than $1.8 million in back pay and penalties for 70 former bikini baristas after finding their employer violated Washington wage and hour laws. One of the affected Beehive Espresso stands previously operated in Edmonds before closing, tying this major worker-rights case to a former local business many residents may remember.
