• Native American Student Union hosts the university's first-ever American Indian Studies end-of-year ceremony (cwuobserver.com) — Central Washington University’s Native American Student Union recently held its first-ever American Indian Studies end-of-year ceremony on campus, honoring graduating AIS students and the late Professor Emeritus Don Woodcock. Speakers highlighted CWU’s relationship to Yakama homelands, the new AIS charter, and the importance of Native-led community-building, with President Jim Wohlpart personally recognizing students’ achievements and support for Indigenous programs in Ellensburg.
