• Man from East Pierce County dead after wrong-way crash near Enumclaw (thenewstribune.com) — A 70-year-old Lake Tapps man died after driving the wrong way on eastbound State Route 164 near Enumclaw and colliding with a 33-year-old Enumclaw driver. The July 30 crash shut the highway for more than three hours, and investigators have not yet determined whether drugs or alcohol were factors.
