Viewfinder: Enumclaw Summer Wine Walk

Twenty three wineries from around Washington state were represented at this event that also featured food, music and art.

Lots of same-day visits were logged Saturday during the Summer Wine Walk hosted by the Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce.Β 

Executive Director Tracey McCallum said on the morning of Saturday, June 11, they had soldΒ  300 tickets. By 7 p.m. -- with two hours left of the event -- there was an estimated 600 to 700 tickets sold.

"Last year we sold out with 756 tickets," she said.

This year's wine walk featured 23 wineries compared to 16 the year before.

The wine walk was also extended two more hours this year making it a 6-hour event.Β

"Everything has gone smoothly and has been great," said McCallum.

Some of the wineries in attendance were Stina's Cellars from Lakewood, Revelry Winery from Walla Walla, Foxy Roxy Wines from Othello, Girly Girl WinesΒ from Woodinville and Northwest Totem Cellars from Redmond.
