1. Everett plans to use $33M of transit merger funds for stadium project (heraldnet.com) — Everett proposes putting $33 million from its transit merger toward a downtown stadium project whose price has climbed to $144 million. The financing plan also calls for about $92 million in debt, supported partly by stadium revenue and business taxes. Council members are scheduled to vote December 2.
   

2. Everett Transit to Community Transit Merger Official (myeverettnews.com) — Everett’s transit merger is official, bringing a higher sales tax next April and expanded bus service starting in 2028. Community Transit takes over operations April 1, 2027, when the transit tax doubles to 1.2%. Routes initially stay mostly unchanged, with the agreement calling for 50% more service by 2031.
   

3. ZeroAvia Maps Path to Hydrogen Fuel Cell Production (ainonline.com subscription) — ZeroAvia has closed its Everett factory as the hydrogen aviation company cuts costs and shifts more work to partners. The restructuring eliminated about half its workforce companywide, with most remaining staff consolidated in England. Its new CEO outlined fuel-cell production plans but offered no update on funding or full powertrain certification.
   

4. National Adoption Day Celebration in Everett on Nov. 20th (myeverettnews.com) — Children and their new families will celebrate National Adoption Day at Everett's Snohomish County Superior Court on November 20. The gathering runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Jury Assembly Room, with children's activities, mascots and assistance-dog puppies, while highlighting the need for adoptive homes.
   

5. WSDOT asks for public input on BC to PDX high-speed rail (everettpost.com) — Everett residents have until November 13 to weigh in on a possible high-speed rail corridor between British Columbia and Portland. WSDOT's survey seeks transportation priorities and written comments as the agency studies rail alongside long-term I-5 needs. The report also references an earlier interview with Councilman Ben Zarlingo about potential implications for greater Everett.
