• Toddler hit, injured by motorcycle in Everett; South 2nd Ave. closed for investigation (komonews.com) — A 3-year-old was taken to the hospital with injuries described as minor after running into the street and being hit by a motorcyclist near South 2nd Avenue and Eugene Street in Everett. Police say the rider stayed at the scene and impairment is not suspected, but South 2nd Avenue was temporarily closed between Biglow and Eugene while investigators documented the crash. 
• Boeing North Line first week ends with ribbon cutting (everettpost.com) — Boeing’s new 737 North Line in Everett is now up and running, capping nearly four years of preparation and a $1 billion investment that local leaders say will boost jobs and the city’s economy. Officials from Congress and City Hall joined Boeing workers to celebrate the launch, which will ramp up 737 MAX production in Everett and support more than a thousand regional suppliers.
• City of Edmonds and regional partners receive regional Vision 2050 Award (myedmondsnews.com) — Everett is one of several cities honored with a Vision 2050 Award for collaborative planning to improve the busy SR 99 corridor, a key route for local commuters. The study and Edmonds’ completed safety upgrades are shaping future changes that could bring safer crossings, better bike lanes, and smoother traffic along stretches of Highway 99 used regularly by Everett residents.
