• Details released regarding Ferndale murder (whatcom-news.com) — Ferndale police have released new details about a deadly shooting on Ferndale Terrace early May 8, where a man was fatally wounded and later died at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center. Officers say the suspect, arrested with help from Lummi Police and the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office, faces multiple domestic‑violence‑related charges and unlawful firearm possession.
