• About 500 customers without power after mass outage in Tacoma (thenewstribune.com) — Power is out for nearly 500 Tacoma Public Utilities customers just east of Fircrest, after an unplanned outage that began early Wednesday near Center Street and South Tyler Street. Crews are working on repairs, and service is expected to be restored by 2 p.m., so Fircrest-area residents should prepare for possible lingering disruptions to their Wednesday routines.
