• Two-week lane closure on Narrows Bridge to start Oct. 24 (gigharbornow.org) — Fox Island drivers should prepare for single-lane closures on the Fox Island Bridge from Oct. 20–22, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., for a safety inspection of the aging structure. The county is also weighing costly options for a full bridge replacement, while separate long-running repairs will temporarily close two westbound lanes on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge starting Oct. 24.
